The quality of air inside offices, schools, and other workplaces is important not only for workers’ comfort but also for their health.  Safety HSE Solutions inspects the building or facility for potential areas of hazard, comfort and productivity. As of February 2024, the California Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board (Cal/OSHA) revised the state's permissible exposure limit (PEL) for lead from 50 micrograms per cubic meter of air (µg/m3) to 10 µg/m3 over an 8-hour workday. This applies to both construction and non-construction worksites. The action level was also lowered from 30 µg/m3 to 2 µg/m3.

Lead overexposure is one of the most common overexposures found in industry and is a leading cause of workplace illness and a major public health risk. Our experts will conduct a lead-paint survey and assist with the remediation process.
